Solana Beach allocates grant funding to Safe Routes to School pedestrian ramps

With a little more than $50,000 in expected Community Development Block Grant funding from the county, the Solana Beach City Council approved a plan Nov. 20 to add two pedestrian ramps throughout the city. Solana Beach to hold tree lighting, Santa appearances

Solana Beach will host two holiday tree lightings in early December, followed by the return of Santa riding through the streets with fire, sheriff and marine safety personnel, the city announced.
