Re California regulator OKs stricter clean air standards. What will it mean for gas prices? (Nov. 8): OK, here we go, California, another regulation to jack up our gas prices. Pay attention to the sleight-of-hand directly from the out-of-touch governor. Do you recall that Gavin Newsom announced with great fanfare the price gouging task force to catch the evil oil companies fleecing Californians and the recently announced gas price reduction task force, both tasked to lower gas prices? Both launched with wild fanfare and filled with empty promises and have yet to produce one single outcome. Does our governor (and these boards) actually think Californians are that stupid to fall for this blatant bait-and-switch political pandering? Apparently so as we continue to sit back and let them pick our pockets with this extreme agenda.

California alone will not solve the worlds environmental problems. In fact, despite all the political hoodwinking and posturing, the only thing impacted will be our pocketbooks. Again.
