Katie Süel, Solana Beach School District Board of Education member for Trustee Area 3, met with Pack 734 Webelos Cub Scouts at Solana Pacific Elementary School on Oct. 9. The scouts had an opportunity to learn about Süels background and her role as a member of the Board of Education. The scouts engaged with Süel on topics that ranged from school construction and kitchen remodeling to learning the duties of a school board member.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the scouts to interact with a civic leader, a news release stated. The scouts from Pack 734 consist of students in the Solana Beach School District, Del Mar Union School District as well as other area public and private schools.
