Re Time for smart compromise on time change (Nov. 2): Professor Sheldon H. Jacobson’s article about daylight savings time was very intelligently written. It’s a known fact that most people prefer more daylight in the evening than in the morning (trust me, the cows in Kansas don’t know the difference). So why not a 30- minute compromise? No more fussing with changing our various timepieces (although most are automatically adjusted). Let’s compromise and concentrate on more important matters.
