Re California is about to change fuel standards. That means higher gas prices. But how high? (Nov. 3): California must think it can solve the global warming problem all by itself. It ignores the fact that every study proves that all its efforts do not amount to a hill of beans, as China, India, Indonesia, Africa and the rest of the world continue, for example, to build and operate thousands of coal-fired plants.
This is a worldwide problem that requires a worldwide solution. Californias citizens have paid enough. This is yet another unreasonable burden.
