A preliminary 3.4-magnitude earthquake rattled Fontana Saturday night, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported at 8:17 p.m. about 6 km northwest of Fontana. A fire at an AutoZone store in Hollywood was knocked down after burning multiple businesses. The fire was reported around 4:30 p.m. Saturday at a strip mall located at 1306 N. Highland Avenue, according to LAFD. It took 124 firefighters a little more than two hours to extinguish the flames that began at the automotive parts store. A Metro employee was shot early Saturday during her break in East Hollywood in what the transportation company described as an “act of domestic violence.” The shooting was reported around 7:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of N.
