A motorcycle rider died Thursday after crashing into a tree in Chula Vista, police said.

The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. on Telegraph Canyon Road near Paseo Del Rey Road, Chula Vista police said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The crash shut down roads temporarily in the area.

No other information was immediately available.
