Girl Scout Troop 2216 is collecting blankets for Community Resource Center + ' Main Photo'

Local Rancho Santa Fe Girl Scout Troop 2216 is hosting a community blanket drive for the Community Resource Center in Encinitas to help those in need this winter. Through Nov. 8, donate a new throw blanket or contribute $15 to go toward the purchase of a new blanket. The troop, based out of Solana Santa Fe Elementary School, plans to deliver the blankets to the Community Resource Center on Nov. 8, help sort donation items and assist the food and nutrition team in assembling meals.

The troop has a goal of collecting 100 blankets. Blankets can be dropped off at Solana Santa Fe Elementary School and the Rancho Santa Fe Library. To donate, venmo @Troop2216
