Three races in county, state and federal districts that include La Jolla are going the way of the incumbents in early results from the Nov. 5 elections.

Democrat Terra Lawson-Remer has a double-digit lead over Republican former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer in the race for the District 3 seat on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.

Tasha Boerner (D-Encinitas) is well ahead of Republican challenger James Browne in the run for state Assembly District 77.

U.S. Rep. Scott Peters (D-La Jolla) is easily defeating Republican challenger Peter Bono in the 50th Congressional District.

In San Diego City Council District 1, incumbent Joe LaCava, a La Jolla resident, ran unopposed.
