He is the author of 51 novels, 16 short story collections, 28 graphic novels, 170 short stories, 14 nonfiction books, and has edited 26 anthologies, according to a news release.
He has written comics for Marvel, IDW, Dark Horse, and others, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is based in part on his 2009-10 run on the comic. His Joe Ledger thrillers are being developed for TV by the director of the John Wick films. He is the president of the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers, and editor of Weird Tales Magazine.
