The Turtleback Education Foundation held its annual Harvest Festival on Oct. 25 at Turtleback Elementary in Rancho Bernardo.

The festival gave families a chance to celebrate fall by having a fun evening with their fellow Terrapins, according to Archana Balasubramanian, the foundation’s president.

Activities included carnival games, a cakewalk, a magic show by the Amazing Dana, pumpkin painting, an obstacle course, a trunk or treat activity and lots of refreshments. There was also music, a photo booth, a caricature artist, the Gyminny Kids Circus Demo team performed and attendees could learn about computer coding.

Balasubramanian said the event was run with the support of Turtleback teachers, staff and principal; the foundation’s board and dedicated volunteers, including grandparents, parents, students and former students.
