St. Mary’s-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church’s Fall Bazaar will provide festive holiday shopping for the 24th year.

The rummage sale and boutique shop will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at the church, 1010 12th St. on the corner of San Vicente Road and 12th Street.

Members of the Episcopal Church Women and volunteers have been gathering donations for the event for more than six months, said the group’s vice president, Sandy Bedard.

“Anyone can bring donations during the year,” Bedard said.

The Fall Bazaar will feature a rummage sale in the church parking lot and a boutique sale inside the church where new and gently used items will be sold. Additionally, handmade items can be purchased at the bazaar’s craft sale.

Shoppers who want to take a break can purchase homemade soups, pastries and other refreshments.

Funds will be raised with an opportunity drawing for an aquatic-themed handmade quilt. Tickets cost $1 each or $5 for six tickets.

Money collected through the Fall Bazaar will go toward St. Mary’s-in-the-Valley’s mission and ministry, which includes community outreach activities such as its Shoes and Socks Program, Bedard said.

“We’re a very small congregation but we do a lot of different things and we really help the community,” she said.

Leftover items will donated to the Ramona Food & Clothes Closet thrift store, Ramona Community Library, Ramona Women’s Clinic and Goodwill.
