Toreros notes: USD is coming off its most impressive game of the season, a 40-13 home win against Davidson. Ja’seem Reed tied the program record with 14 catches. He totaled 186 yards receiving and scored two TDs. USD scored 30 points in the second quarter. The Toreros have scored six defensive touchdowns, tied for most in the Football Championship Subdivision.
Flyers notes: Dayton has lost two straight, scoring a combined 13 points against Morehead State and Presbyterian. Moving the ball will be a challenge for USD as Dayton leads the FCS in total defense (244.8 yards per game) and passing defense (129.8 yards). Mason Hackett has rushed for 737 yards.
