Open Division: (2) Torrey Pines (28-7) vs. (1) Cathedral Catholic (41-2)

When: 6 p.m. Saturday

Where: Southwestern College

Preview: Torrey Pines has won three matches in a row and is ranked No. 7 in California by MaxPreps.com. The Falcons were tested in the semifinals, beating Francis Parker in five sets and winning 15-11 in the decider. Cathedral Catholic, the defending Open Division champion, beat Torrey Pines in last seasons championship match. The Dons are ranked No. 4 in the state, No. 14 in the nation and have won 18 matches in a row, including a 3-0 win over Torrey Pines in September.

Division 1: (9) Rancho Bernardo (19-17) vs. (2) Eastlake (25-11)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday

Where: Southwestern College

Preview: Rancho Bernardo is the lowest seed in any championship match, knocking off No. 8 Del Norte, No. 1 Sage Creek and No. 4 El Capitan on the way to the title match. Eastlake is ranked No. 44 in the state, has won seven matches in a row and hasnt lost a set in three playoff matches.

Division 2: (5) University City (23-8) vs. (2) La Jolla Country Day (28-8)

When: 5 p.m. Friday

Where: Southwestern College

Preview: University City breezed through the first two rounds, then upset top-seeded Coronado 3-1 in the semifinals. La Jolla Country Day had an easy time in the two rounds, then was tested by No. 3 Scripps Ranch in the semifinals, beating the Falcons 3-2 (15-12) in the fifth set. Ranked No. 62 in the state, the Torreys beat University City in an August match.

Division 3: (5) Santana (21-5) vs. (2) Brawley (28-11)

When: 7:30 p.m., Saturday

Where: MiraCosta College

Preview: Santana rolled through the first two rounds before running into No. 1-seeded High Tech San Diego in the semifinals. But Santana prevailed in five sets, winning the decider 15-9. The Sultans have won eight in a row. Brawley beat Del Lago Academy, Ramona and Olympian on the way to the championship, losing only one set.

Division 4: (2) High Tech-Mesa (19-11) vs. (1) Lincoln (26-7)

When: 5 p.m. Saturday

Where: MiraCosta College

Preview: High Tech-Mesa beat Mar Vista, Calexico and El Camino, losing just one set. Lincoln has won 16 matches in a row, including all 10 in the City League. The Hornets won the Division 5 championship last season.

Division 5: (2) Orange Glen (15-13) vs. (1) Southwest-San Diego (14-16)

When: 2 p.m. Saturday

Where: MiraCosta College

Preview: Orange Glen has lived on the edge in the playoffs, beating OFarrell Charter 15-13 in the fifth set in the quarterfinals, then outlasting San Ysidro 16-14 in the fifth in the semifinals. Southwest-San Diego beat Castle Park 3-1 and Kearny 3-0 on the way to the title match.
